Cated® (Car Assistant to Efficient Driving) is a range of products for Android and Nokia mobile telephones, specially conceived for driving assistance.

Nowadays, the number of people who own high spec mobile telephones is increasing. These devices have been created as mini-computers which open up a great range of technological possibilities to offer innovative services at a very competitive price. This is possible thanks to the use of the telephone itself without the need to purchase additional expensive devices.

Cars can provide the perfect platform for a combination of the vehicle and the mobile phone, with the aim of creating products for both entertainment and useful information.

The range of products Cated® has been created with this purpose in mind, the possibility of connecting the car to a mobile phone and, in this way, enjoy a series of applications for driving, bearing in mind different types of drivers. There are products destined to efficient driving by reducing consumption, products destined to evaluate the general state of health of the vehicle and products for driving fans in search of information and performance which up to now have only been available in competition cars.

Cated® sensor as a generic hardware device, able to communicate with the vehicle based on the OBD-II standard, numerous applications can be created, such as the range of Cated® apps. Some could be for specific professional groups. Listed below are some examples of such applications.

The Cated® apps and sensor have been created using design as a methodology to guarantee usability, ergonomics and above all safety when behind the wheel. We have designed user-friendly interfaces which are simple to understand thanks to the easily recognisable buttons and colours.
